The members of the Cicero Township Volunteer Fire Department are made up of highly dedicated men and women that live in our community. As with most volunteer fire departments, our members have other full time jobs besides being a firefighter. When a call is received the members report to station to get our equipment and respond to the scene to assist those in need. It takes dedication to be a volunteer firefighter due to the amount of training and time away from our families. But when we are able help the people in our community when they need it most the dedication it takes to be a firefighter is worth the sacrifice.
